Land Rover Defender Cost Review

The land rover defender cost is one of the most impressive midsize luxury SUVs to hit the market. It offers strong off-road capability, but also plenty of refinement and smart tech.

Why do people like old defenders?

The Defender is available in three body styles: two-door and four-door, with a base 4-cylinder engine and a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. A longer-wheelbase 130 model, with three seats in the third row, joins the lineup for 2023.

Its base engine is adequate for everyday driving, but the 6-cylinder and V8 engines add more muscle if you want to feel the power and take your Defender on a rougher trail. All models offer four-wheel drive with a twin-speed transfer case and Terrain Response settings that help the Defender handle a variety of terrains.

There are lots of safety features for a Defender, including blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and rear cross-traffic alert. In addition, the Defender offers an array of connected services like automatic collision notification, live emergency assistance, and remote access through the InConnect app.

Comfort and Ride Quality

The Defender’s air suspension makes it incredibly comfortable for long road trips, and it’s quiet and free of vibrations, even when fitted with all-terrain tires. It’s also surprisingly smooth and precise around town, thanks to its light steering.

Cargo Space and Legroom

The rear seats are surprisingly spacious for a vehicle of this size. The 90 has 15.6 cubic feet of cargo capacity, while the 110’s 34 cubic feet are plenty for most families.
